Sandplay is a recognized type of therapeutic modality for both children and adults, based on the psychology of C.G. Jung and developed by the Swiss psychotherapist and teacher Dora Kalff. Sometimes we have a hard time putting our thoughts and feelings into words. People often think in pictures, so frequently they find it is easier to make a picture of something they are thinking about and feeling than to talk. In Sandplay or Expressions in Sandtray, children and adults use sand and objects (miniatures-small figures and toys) to make a visual narrative or story. Exploring your story facilitates healing.  Scarlet Graham, LPC
